The most important aspects of a good vintage style design is the use of authentic looking textures, i’ve put together a pack of some of the best vintage textures that I have. Each one of these textures consists of 4-5 different images layered together in Photoshop to get the end result you see here. I usually used one fabric texture, two paper textures, and a grunge texture along with the pattern to get the effect that I wanted.

I love the combination vintage and grunge look. A tutorial would be quite useful for designers who don’t have much experience creating patterns and want to see your grunge-ification process.

These textures are absolutely amazing, thanks, and i was so excited to have all of them. However, after i downloaded them and tried to unzip it, i get an error and can’t access any of them. Did anyone else have a similar problem – or did i do something wrong?
try to download the pack from another server, i downloaded from mediafire and didn’t get any errors after i extract them (i use winrar).

fantastic textures. but i have a mac and after download the zip file won’t open. is this just for pc’s? the download link didn’t specify mac or windows.
